MANGO OVERNIGHT OATS
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based) 1/2 cup yogurt (plain or mango-flavoured) 1/2 ripe mango, diced 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)Your choice of toppings (e.g., sliced mango, coconut flakes, chopped nuts) Instructions
- In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, diced mango, chia seeds, and sweetener (if desired).
- Stir well to ensure everything is evenly mixed. Secure the lid on the jar or container and refrigerate it overnight, or for at least 4-6 hours.
- This will allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften while infusing with the mango flavour. In the morning, give the oats a good stir.
- If the mixture seems too thick, you can add a splash of milk to achieve your desired consistency.
- Now it's time to add some delightful toppings to enhance the mango flavour. Arrange some sliced mangoes on top, sprinkle with coconut flakes for a tropical treat.
